Materials Science Research

The summer after my Freshman year at MIT I researched with the Grossman Group on nano-porous membranes for water filtration. I helped conduct the dead-end filtration testing as well as designed and machined the parts for a cross-flow system set up, which is more realistic to the implementation of these membranes. In order to fund my part in this research, I was awarded a Johnson & Johnson Scholarship for the summer out of 100 applicants.
